Our Story

My name is Sarah, and I'm 27 years old. I grew up outside Chicago, in a family where dinners lasted for hours and you never left without a hug. Then, at 20, life took me abroad for school and my first job. I spent four years away from my parents, my sisters, and everything that felt like home.

It was during that stretch of distance that the idea for Jewelheart was born. I was looking for a simple, quiet way to keep the people I loved close. FaceTime calls were great, but I wanted to actually feel their presence with me. I pictured a piece of jewelry built one piece at a time, with each fragment representing someone I loved.

The idea was simple: the necklace had to be both beautiful and unbreakable, just like family. That's why I chose high-quality stainless steel, something that could handle everyday life without tarnishing. It had to be a piece of jewelry you'd never want to take off.

Back home, I made my very first Union™ necklace: a puzzle for my own family. It turned out so beautiful, and the meaning behind it hit so deep, that my friends started asking me to make them one too. My little workshop started as a corner of my apartment, powered by passion and this simple wish to bring hearts together, even from far away.

Jewelheart is my tribute to my family, and to everyone out there who knows what it means to love someone from a distance. Every piece carries the same message: you're here, with me, always.
